From solving lyrical mysteries to meal planning and writing children’s bedtime stories, dive into all the joyful ways people use artificial intelligence (AI) in the newest episode of The Real BS About AI podcast.

“AI is supposed to be this thing that you get to enjoy and have fun,” co-host Bob Soulliere said.

Explore Twenty One Pilots’ Lore
Admittingly, a person who always has questions and a longtime fan of Twenty One Pilots, Soulliere shares how he’s using AI to summarize the data about the hidden mental health storyline behind the band’s albums spanning 10 years.

He asked Claude and ChatGPT to tell the story of Dema and Trench, starting with Blurryface to their most recent album. AI provided Soulliere with the watching order of the music videos, common themes and threads, and the band’s independent hints and clues into an entire story.

Meal Planning In Minutes
Meanwhile, co-host Alethea Inns shares how she’s using AI to save time and money to fix common household problems, like a malfunctioning water softener. A fitness competitor, she also uses ChatGPT to write meal plans that fit her macros, dietary restrictions, and budget.

Spark Storytelling Ideas
One of the sweeter moments in the episode comes when Inns talks about how her friend uses AI to create personalized bedtime stories for her children based on their reading level, interests, and life lessons.

A writer at heart, Soulliere uses AI when he has writer’s block and needs help getting unstuck on how to incorporate an idea into one of his short stories that makes sense for readers.

“I like my words, and I like how they sound. ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude are supposed to make me better,” Soulliere said.
