When it comes to adjusting to technology in the workplace, it’s not about the technology that is changing but how you are growing with it.

During this year’s Administrative Faculty Development Day, Assistant Vice President for Digital Services and Solutions Bob Soulliere helped faculty members understand this concept and tackle technology challenges at work. With this year’s theme being "The Future of Work: Empowering Administrative Faculty at UNLV," Soulliere shared some successful growth mindset strategies with an audience of nearly 400 faculty members. From taking time out of the workday to express gratitude to positively reframing responses to challenges, faculty members from various departments across campus learned ways to grow alongside a constantly evolving workplace.

"Change can be tough, but a growth mindset reminds us that we’re not stuck, and that we have the power of 'yet' to let us know what is possible," Soulliere says. "When we lead with gratitude and grace, we create room for both progress and kindness. That's how we show up as One UNLV, by leaning into the future side by side."
