Connection: Meet Kara (An UNLV IT Series)
In this episode, we meet Kara, Salesforce Administrator for UNLV Information Technology.
Kara’s journey at UNLV first began thanks to the national student exchange program. After spending a semester in sunny Las Vegas, Kara transferred from her hometown in Hawaii to graduate with three degrees from UNLV.
From a student worker at the IT Help Desk, to an integral part of the Graduate College and Academic Affairs, Kara now supports the academic advising and student success team through the Rebel Success Hub. Salesforce, the powerful software behind the Rebel Success Hub, allows Kara to provide the tools to support students without the runaround by connecting them with services and staff they need. This means faster communication, increased security, and overall academic success.
