How to Get Software
Use at Work
Faculty may request a free license from the IT Help Desk for their university-barcoded machine. Limited licenses are available and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Faculty licenses are valid for the year the license is requested.
Instructors teaching a course using Minitab may request a free classroom license from the IT Help Desk. Classroom licenses are valid for one semester. The instructor and students registered for the course will each be assigned a license for Minitab that will allow them to install the software on university-barcoded and/or personal devices while their license is active.
Use at Home
Faculty who have been issued a Minitab license for their university-barcoded computer may install a copy of the software on a personal device as long as the application is not used on both machines at the same time.

Students registered for a UNLV course that uses Minitab may qualify for a license. Student licenses are valid per semester. Students issued a license will receive their access information from the instructor of the UNLV course approved to use Minitab.
