What Cardholders Should Know About Temporary RebelCard Changes

Listen to this announcement

Since upgrading the RebelCard system to better support the card’s chip technology and expanded features, there are some things students, faculty, and staff need to know about using their RebelCard until one-tap payments, easy event check-ins, and mobile ID cards are available.

What’s Temporarily Changing

  • Swipe your card for purchases wherever RebelCard is accepted
  • Add money online or deposit cash at the RebelCard Office or Lied Library
  • Still use your RebelCard to access building if your card already has that feature

Update Account Settings
Some settings didn’t automatically transfer during the upgrade for security reasons. It’s a good time to ensure account information is accurate so they don’t miss out on important notices.

  • Reset low balance settings
  • Update saved payment information
  • Update guest access information
  • Go to Grubhub account to reconnect RebelCard

For more information about this service migration project, visit the RebelCard site.
