Microsoft Publisher Support Ends Oct. 1: Convert Files Now

Microsoft will discontinue Microsoft Publisher October 1. Your access will change depending on which software that you use:

• Microsoft 365 Subscription: Microsoft will remove Publisher from Microsoft 365 on October 1, 2026 and customers will no longer be able to access Publisher.
• Perpetual Desktop Licenses: If you have Office 2021 (or earlier) versions on a university-barcoded device, you may continue to use your installed version of Publisher. However, Publisher will no longer receive security updates or software updates.
