Google Meet Filter Effects 

You can now access a variety of new filter effects on Google Meet on the web and mobile. These filters, such as loghead, strawberry, and working bunny, can add an element of fun to meetings.

To apply a visual effect, from the control bar at the bottom, click More and select Apply visual effects.

Availability

This feature is now available for all UNLVMail (@unlv.edu) and Rebelmail accounts (@unlv.nevada.edu)

You can now upload your own image for your background.

To upload your own image for your background, on the bottom, click More and select Apply visual effects > Upload a background image and select your image.

Google Meet Reactions 

 

You can now use emojis to share in-meeting reactions in Google Meet on Web, and iOS, with Android coming soon.

These reactions will show as a small icon in the sender’s video tile and floating up the left side of the screen. When there are multiple reactions, you will see a burst of emojis on the left side of your screen.

To share a reaction, select the smile icon in the control bar to get the reaction bar. You can hover on this bar to select the skin tone of your choice.
