The service allows students to connect to a virtual desktop in a computer lab to access 40+ software titles from their own device. Students can interact with the desktop as if the data and programs were stored on their home computer.

The virtual computer labs service is currently in beta form. The service is a work in progress, and we are making changes throughout the testing phase. As we work out the bugs, keep in mind that your experience may differ from those who will use the final version.

To use the virtual applications or virtual computer labs, you will need to download the VMWare Horizon Client on your device. Then follow the step-by-step installation instructions.
Your experience using software in a virtual environment will be different than visiting a computer lab in person. You should consider a few things if you use a virtual computer lab.

Save to Y: drive (UNLV network) or Z: drive (home computer)
