Cybersecurity Liaisons Needed To Boost Digital Security Campuswide

Since October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, it’s a good month to volunteer as a cybersecurity liaison.

Raise awareness about cybersecurity and provide the campus community with tools and information to stay safe online and build resilience against cyber threats. Other responsibilities include:

  • Sharing monthly communication from Information Security Office
  • Attending virtual security presentations with guest speakers
  • Bringing ideas for training and/or workshops for REBELearn

A one-year commitment, the program is open to full-time UNLV employees. Technology and cybersecurity knowledge is not required.

Anyone interested in participating in the cybersecurity liaison program should submit an interest form. Visit the Cybersecurity Awareness Month webpage on the IT site for cybersecurity tips and activities.
