October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. A number of tips and activities are planned to help the campus community adopt good habits to stay safe online. UNLV is hosting a LastPass High Security Score Competition to promote the use of strong passwords and password managers.

Since LastPass is free for UNLV, employees and student workers who sign up for a business account through Oct. 30 can increase their security score and be automatically entered to win prizes. The top 10 high scorers will be notified on Nov. 1 and recognized in Rebel Applause.
