NSHE Hosts Virtual Cybersecurity Presentations

Hosted during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the speaker series teaches the UNLV community how to protect their online information and privacy.

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) hosts a series of cybersecurity presentations from Oct. 26 through Oct. 29. Held virtually at noon each day using BlueJeans, attendees learn how to protect their online information and privacy.

Oct. 26: “KnowBe4 You’re Phished,” James McQuiggan, KnowBe4   
Oct. 27: “Protecting Your Online Financial Information and Presence,” Kristin Judge, Cyber Crime Support 
Oct. 28: “I’ve Been Hacked! How I Survived,” Kim Fairchild, NSHE SCS 
Oct. 29: “Cyber Security Guidelines and Tips for Remote Working and Learning,” Ben Woelk, Rochester Institute of Technology

Held during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the speaker series is open to all NSHE institution community members, including UNLV students, faculty, and staff. 
 
Registration is required and limited to 490 attendees per presentation. Sign up for the event.
