WebCampus Now Allows Personal Pronoun Selection

WebCampus has been updated to allow users to edit and select personal pronouns, including they/them, she/her, and he/him.

If selected, personal pronouns will be displayed after a person’s name in certain areas of WebCampus, including comment fields, discussions, your Inbox, the People page, user navigation menu, user profile page, and the user settings page.

To change your pronouns in WebCampus:

  1. Go to your WebCampus Settings
  2. Click the Edit Settings button on the right side of the screen
  3. Set your pronouns in the left section of the screen
  4. Click the Update Settings button to save the setting

If you would like to change the name that is displayed in WebCampus please contact the IT Help Desk. You can also change your displayed name in Gmail and MyUNLV.

Sharing personal pronouns helps your classmates communicate about you respectfully and helps normalize the sharing of pronouns by others.

Students navigating communicating their pronouns are encouraged to reach out to Romeo Jackson, LGBTQ & Gender Coordinator at the Student Diversity and Social Justice Office, at romeo.jackson@unlv.edu for support and assistance.

For additional help and assistance with WebCampus, please contact the IT Help Desk.
