In order to improve campus security, instructors should now use their ACE login information to sign on to Windows PCs in general-purpose Technology Enhanced Classrooms (TECs) on the main UNLV campus. If you do not yet have your ACE account, or do not know your username or password, please contact the IT Help Desk at 702-895-0777 for assistance.
We also encourage faculty, especially first-time TEC users, to visit their room prior to the start of the semester in order to become familiar with logging on to the computers and using the technology in the room. You can also view virtual tours and a list of equipment in each room online.
Because faculty have unique technology, pedagogy, and support needs in the classroom, OIT offers a dedicated classroom technology help desk. Contact Classroom Technology Services at 702-895-0771 or visit us in CBC B-133 for:
- Help and support for classroom technology
- Training and workshops for using classroom technology
- Requests to install licensed software on classroom computers (please allow 10 business days for processing)
- Requesting keys to access microphones in larger classrooms and more
