New MATLAB and ArcGIS Licenses Now Available

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) continues to work with our software vendors to help provide campus with improved access to software titles as instruction continues remotely. We are pleased to announce the following new licensing options for MATLAB and ArcGIS.

MATLAB Licenses Available Through Summer 2021

OIT and College of Engineering have partnered to obtain a one-year, campus-wide license for MATLAB.

We anticipate this license option will not be available after this year, but hope that it helps provide easier access to this tool in the current learning environment.

Additionally, MATLAB Grader is now integrated with WebCampus so you can easily create and grade interactive coding assignments.

ArcGIS Available for Instructors and Students

Instructors teaching courses using ArcGIS and students that need access to the software can request a license from the IT Help Desk.

  • The license provides access to ArcGIS Online. Once you have an ArcGIS online account, you can also download ArcGIS Pro to your personal computer.
  • Student licenses are valid one year from the date of issue. Faculty and class licenses must be renewed each semester.

We hope these options help support your academic needs as our learning environment evolves.

If you have any questions, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.
