Lynda.com Becomes LinkedIn Learning On Sept. 27

Microsoft recently purchased Lynda.com and our Lynda.com account will be upgraded to LinkedIn Learning on Friday, September 27.

The new LinkedIn Learning offers the same expansive catalog of professional video courses as well as new features, including improved recommendations that can help you excel in your career when you connect your LinkedIn profile.

  • If you have previously taken advantage of this great university benefit, your learning activity and history will be seamlessly transferred to LinkedIn Learning and you can pick up right where you left off.
  • From early in the morning on Thursday, September 26 until Friday, September 27, your account will be unavailable while the upgrade is in process.
  • After the upgrade is complete, you’ll receive an email to activate your LinkedIn Learning account. If you have any Lynda.com bookmarks or reference Lynda.com in your course materials, you will need to update these links after the upgrade.

The new LinkedInLearning will still be free to access for all UNLV students, faculty, and staff.

Learn more about the upgrade to LinkedIn Learning. If you need any assistance after the upgrade, please contact the IT Help Desk.
