Faculty Panel: Top Hat and Personal Devices in the Classroom

Find out what Dr. Anthony Gatling and other UNLV instructors have to say about using Top Hat to transform the classroom experience. Topics include how the active learning technology is used to engage students - before, during, and after class - and how to manage personal devices in the classroom.

Top Hat is a bring-your-own-device solution, which means that students can use any web-enabled device (laptops, tablets, smartphones) to participate in class discussions, take polls and quizzes, and send feedback to instructors. The platform also allows for text messaging to submit answers.
